International Master’s in Business Administration
The International Master’s in Business Administration is an internationally recognised qualification for pre-experience applicants seeking a postgraduate general business award. The course builds your knowledge of key business functions and shows how they connect to strategic and international business environments. You will also explore current trends and modern business practices.
Throughout the programme, you will strengthen your understanding of Business and Management concepts, principles, and theoretical frameworks. You will gain practical experience through applied analysis, research, problem-solving, and project management activities.
Completing the International Master’s in Business Administration provides a highly regarded qualification that enhances your career prospects in managerial roles across various international business sectors. The programme also prepares you for further professional study in areas such as accounting, marketing, operations, or human resources. It can serve as a stepping stone for advanced academic research, including a PhD.
The entry requirements for the International Master’s in Business Administration are as follows:
Academic Pathway
- A degree classification of 2:2 or above.
OR
- A professional qualification of equal depth to a degree. Professional qualifications will be assessed on an individual basis.
Work Experience Pathway
- 3 – 5 five years of relevant managerial work experience, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of the sector for the subject matter you are interested in pursuing.
- All work experience-based applicants will be required to provide a reference detailing your role(s) and responsibilities from your line manager. This would be requested after you have successfully applied.
English Certification
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS) – Overall Score of 6.5 with no component less than 6.0
- TOEFL – Overall Score of 79 with no component score less than 21
- Cambridge: Advanced English, First English – Overall score of 176 with no component scores less than 169
- Cambridge: English Proficiency (Online Verification Required) – Overall score of 176 with no component scores less than 169
The University accepts regional based qualifications deemed to be equivalent. Qualifications must have been completed within the last 5 years.
