Project Management
This Project Management Course introduces the principles and lifecycle of project management in a business context, with a clear focus on corporate responsibility and sustainability. First, students explore how teams plan, govern, and deliver projects effectively. Next, the course examines key constraints such as scope, resources, risk, and stakeholder expectations. In addition, students apply project management tools to real-world sustainability projects and events. As a result, the course supports ethical decision-making, strong collaboration, and evidence-based evaluation of project performance.
The Project Management Course forms part of the Diploma in Business Level 4 (MQFL5) . Students can continue with the Diploma at a later stage as part of their academic progression.
The entry requirements for the Project Management course are as follows:
- 4 O’ Levels including English and Mathematics
- MQF Level 4 Certificate or equivalent

By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Explain the principles, stages, roles, and constraints of project management and apply them within a business environment
- Analyse and apply project management tools and techniques to plan, deliver, and control projects effectively
- Evaluate the impact of corporate responsibility and sustainability objectives on project design, governance, and stakeholder engagement
- Apply budgeting, data management, negotiation, and reporting techniques to deliver CR&S projects and events successfully
- Evaluate project outcomes using qualitative and quantitative data and communicate results using appropriate digital tools
On completion of this award, learners have the opportunity to continue with the full Diploma in Business.
