Leadership and Entrepreneurship
This course explores leadership and entrepreneurship in dynamic, innovative, and ethically driven organisations. First, students examine leadership behaviours, communication styles, and decision-making approaches used to guide teams through uncertainty. Next, the course develops an entrepreneurial mindset by focusing on opportunity recognition, innovation, and strategic thinking.
In addition, students learn how leaders manage change, motivate others, and turn vision into action. The course also embeds corporate responsibility and sustainability within leadership practice. Finally, it emphasises ethical and inclusive leadership, alongside reflective learning, to support long-term entrepreneurial success.
The Leadership and Entrepreneurship course forms part of the Diploma in Business Level 4 (MQFL5) . Students can continue with the Diploma at a later stage as part of their academic progression.
The entry requirements for the Leadership and Entrepreneurship course are as follows:
- 4 O’ Levels including English and Mathematics
- MQF Level 4 Certificate or equivalent

By the end of this course, students will be able to:

- Evaluate leadership strategies for managing innovation, organisational change, and continuous improvement
- Analyse the relationship between vision, strategic direction, motivation, and performance in entrepreneurial ventures
- Apply leadership approaches that embed corporate responsibility and sustainability, supporting long-term organisational and societal impact
On completion of this award, learners have the opportunity to continue with the full Diploma in Business.
