BA (Hons) Business Management – 3rd Year
The third year of the BA (Hons) Business Management places entrepreneurship and reflective thinking at the core of advanced business study, preparing students for graduate-level roles or further academic progression. Students will develop a strategic understanding of modern business practice through applied and practice-based learning.
This final year focuses on integrating knowledge across key functional areas of business, enabling students to critically analyse how organisations operate and how different functions work together to achieve strategic objectives. Through immersive and practical activities, students will explore contemporary challenges and opportunities faced by organisations in the 21st century.
Students will further refine agile, reflective and critical thinking skills that are essential for success in modern organisations. The programme equips future managers and professionals with the advanced knowledge, skills and attributes required across a range of business and management sectors, supporting career progression in areas such as entrepreneurship, consultancy, marketing and people management.
The entry requirements for the BA (Hons) Business Management – 3rd year of the degree are as follows:

- International English Language Testing System (IELTS) – Overall Score of 6.0 with no component less than 5.5

- Develop and apply human resources and people management skills in a business and management context.
- Critically appraise relevant knowledge and understanding of organisations, the external environment in which they operate and management theory when assessing and solving problems in different business scenarios.
- Apply relevant transferable skills to a career in business and management (for example, managing projects, communication, working in teams, research and appropriate technologies and critically reflect on the effectiveness of their own skills and knowledge in such application.
- Examine contemporary and strategic issues through the application of relevant analytical concepts, models and theories.
- Evaluate and demonstrate an informed understanding of ethical responsibilities contributing to their professional values and their role in organisations and society in the 21st century.
- Develop skills of independent learning, analysis, synthesis and critical thinking through the application of business and management concepts and principles and the related underpinning theories appropriate to a wide range of business organisations and situations.
