Summer Camp Silicon Valley
ABC Silicon Valley immerses students in the mindset required to recognize and shape the needs of modern consumers. Students learn from professors and guest speakers with first-hand experience in disruptive technology trends, venture capital, and angel investing. Working in teams, participants develop start-up ideas and practice pitching them to potential investors.
Company Visits
Experience innovation first-hand by visiting some of the world’s most influential tech companies. Participants will tour Google, Apple, Adobe, Pinterest, and Stanford University. These visits provide invaluable insight into how successful companies operate daily, embrace disruptive technologies, and create competitive advantages. You will also have the chance to observe corporate culture, leadership practices, and innovative problem-solving in action.
Elevator Pitch Competition
Competition drives innovation, and this experience simulates a real investor environment. Students work in teams to transform their start-up ideas into concise, compelling elevator pitches. Mentors provide guidance, and a panel of judges evaluates presentations.
Free Time
ABC Silicon Valley combines learning with unforgettable experiences. Explore San Francisco on a day trip, including the Golden Gate Bridge, cable cars, and Pier 39. Relax or be inspired by the California coast, vibrant downtown San Jose, and other local attractions. Free time encourages networking, reflection, and personal exploration while enjoying the unique culture of Silicon Valley.
