Business and Computing Degrees at St. Edward’s Career Fair

STC Higher Education recently took part in the Career Fair at St. Edward’s College. The event gave our team the chance to meet students exploring their future academic paths and next steps after school.

Throughout the day, many students visited our stand to learn about study opportunities at STC Higher Education. Our team discussed progression routes, student life, and the advantages of studying internationally recognised Business and Computing degrees in Malta. These conversations helped students better understand how different programmes support their academic and career goals.

In addition, we shared informational materials to introduce the programmes available at STC. Students asked questions, explored study options, and learned more about our learning environment. Graduation 2025: Celebrating STC Higher Education Graduates

On 21st November 2025, the historic city of Mdina once again became the backdrop for a remarkable evening of celebration. STC Higher Education, in partnership with the University of Wolverhampton, hosted its Graduation Ceremony 2025. The event took place at Bacchus in the heart of Mdina. Over 250 graduates and guests gathered to honour this year’s cohort.

Against the timeless beauty of Mdina, graduates from a range of programmes celebrated the completion of their academic journey. Students from BA (Hons) in Business Management, BA (Hons) Business Management (Marketing), BSc (Hons) in Computer Science, BSc (Hons) in Cybersecurity, BSc (Hons) in Computer Science (Games Development), and MSc Cyber Security proudly marked years of commitment and growth. Above all, the ceremony symbolised not only academic success but also the beginning of exciting new professional chapters.

The evening featured several distinguished speakers. Our Head of Institution, Ms Ana Pace Bonello, delivered an inspiring opening address. Dr Gege Gatt shared reflections on leadership and innovation. Ms Angela Spence, Chair of the Board of Governors at the University of Wolverhampton, highlighted the strength of international collaboration. Finally, student representative Ms Victoria Grech delivered a heartfelt speech on behalf of the graduating cohort.

Throughout the event, graduates, families, faculty members, and distinguished guests shared an atmosphere filled with pride and emotion. As each student walked across the stage, applause echoed through the venue. It stood as a tribute to their dedication and resilience. For many, the moment had been years in the making. Meanwhile, for their loved ones, it represented shared achievement and unwavering support.

Graduation Ceremony 2024

On November 8th, 2024, the historic city of Mdina, known as “the silent city,” transformed into a vibrant stage of celebration, pride, and achievement as STC Higher Education, in partnership with the University of Wolverhampton, hosted its Graduation Ceremony 2024. Graduates from diverse fields of study, including BA (Hons) in Business Management, BSc (Hons) in Computer Science, BSc (Hons) in Cybersecurity, BSc (Hons) in Computer Science (Games Development), and MSc Cyber Security, gathered with their families and faculty to celebrate the culmination of years of dedication and hard work. The ceremony marked a new chapter, highlighting their resilience and ambition.

The event was graced by distinguished guests, including Mr Evarist Bartolo, Ex-Minister of Education and Foreign Affairs; Dr Gurmak Singh, Head of Partnerships and Recruitment (FABSS), and Dr Peter Wardle, Head of Partnerships (Home and International) for the Faculty of Science and Engineering, both representing the University of Wolverhampton. Their inspiring words highlighted the importance of perseverance and lifelong learning in a rapidly evolving world. Leading the celebrations were Ms Ana Pace Bonello, STC’s Head of Institution; Mr Steven Camilleri, Computing Academic Leader; and Dr Viana Hassan, Business Academic Leader, who all shared heartfelt congratulations to the graduates.

STC Empowers Seniors with Essential Digital Skills

This week, STC Higher Education and the Ministry for Health and Active Ageing concluded a successful eight-week computer course that gave senior students in Malta the fundamental digital skills they needed. The goal of the senior-specific course was to provide participants with the skills and assurance they need to use technology securely and successfully.

Throughout the program, students learned how to use the internet securely, manage and access emails, and work with mobile devices. They also explored digital photography, enhancing their ability to capture and share memorable moments with ease.

This initiative’s main objective was to assist seniors in gaining more digital literacy so they could maintain relationships with friends, family, and the larger community.
The course aims to bridge the digital gap and promote confidence in utilizing modern technologies by offering hands-on training in a friendly setting.

STC Higher Education celebrates graduation ceremony

Event celebrated the achievements of the graduating class but also highlighted the flourishing collaboration between STC and University of Wolverhampton

On November 17, 2023, STC Higher education in partnership with the University of Wolverhampton held its graduation ceremony for business and computing students who successfully completed their degree. The ceremony took place at the unique Mdina Cathedrale Museum and was held in the presence of Wolverhampton’s academic representatives as well as Minister of Education Clifton Grima.

This memorable event not only celebrated the achievements of the graduating class but also highlighted the flourishing collaboration between STC and University of Wolverhampton.

STC Higher Education has been offering quality education to Maltese and International students since 1997 and has nowadays established itself as a leading Business and IT institute for higher education in Malta.

The partnership between STC and University of Wolverhampton signifies a commitment to advancing education in Business and Computing providing students with a unique theoretical knowledge.
